The Masks We Wear

As I was watching, "The Watchmen", a few nights ago, I got the urge to draw something in traditional American comic style. Since I was watching, "The Watchmen", I wanted to draw something with Rorschach, since he is so bad ass. I then remembered the web sensational meme, "Rorschach and Deadpool" video, ( [link] ) and knew that I had to do something related to that. The initial sketch felt off, like something was missing, and I decided to add another of my favourite grim heroes, "Spawn". During one of the videos for "Rorschach and Deadpool", Deadpool makes a comment about the Watchmen being nothing but metaphors for metaphors, and this brought to mind the poem above. I am very pleased with the final outcome.

Thanks to for the use of her computer, and putting up with me for the last 3 days, while I have done nothing but work on this piece.
